Avantages

Support the in-house developed product, get ESPP, frequent rewards and state of the art Campus with adequate resources at your disposal to grow.

Inconvénients

I don't think there's any work-wise or product-wise. However, they've brought in a ton of non-tech Management background people who love to do meetings and tend to have a more commanding voice over the actual technical workforce. But I guess this is the story everywhere, shiny, glamourous mgmt people who may not even have an MBA or maybe an MBA but for sure some certifications that sound like Karate belts strutting around pretentiously like they own everything. Yeah, maybe they are losing the cool work culture (chilled as a beer) as they used to have but not really a con.

Avantages

- Not the worst pay around - Opportunity for advancement if you get the right management - Good financial benefits (ESPP, 401k options, mega backdoor Roth) - The one thing GK is good at is driving up the company stock price. Hope you got yourself some RSUs

Inconvénients

- NetApp hasn't made a new product in 10 years, so you'll be hard pressed to find development work that isn't directly tied to supporting what was built before then. - Very little innovation other than weekend-project-level AI tools - Health and dental benefits are not great - Upper management is completely detached from reality
