Inconvénients
Everyone in the office is frustrated and miserable working here. Recruiters keep leaving left and right and all management has to say is "we need more people to fill these seats" or "why is it so empty in here?" You feel like you are walking on eggshells everyday working here unless you are one of the few favorites who get to leave early randomly, take long lunch breaks, and come in late. The goals are unrealistic considering most teams are only recruiting for one client account. Management is always saying how they want us to stay late and work through lunch, but last time I checked it is against the law to force employees to work through lunch. Work life balance is non existent. They expect us to stay late and not spend time with our loved ones just to get a "sub." Delivery managers seem to not care about their job. Always away from their desks, coming in late, leaving early, etc. It is unfortunate when your supervisor does not even seem to care about his/her job let alone the team. The same recruiters are praised every month for "producing" otherwise known as "cross subbing." A few of the redundant phrase we hear over again here include, "smile and dial", "Do we have any subs coming?," "Why don't we get a low hanging fruit", "if you just pick up the phone and call people your job is easy." I would like new management to be hired to take a different approach to this operation. It is a toxic work environment, everyone is clearly unhappy working here and constantly applying for other positions. The pay is low compared to other Recruiting roles with competitors, and there are not nearly as many starts as management thought there would be per recruiter therefore no one is making the money they were convinced they would be making when interviewing.
