      Avantages

      It's the top of the field, best orchestra and soloists to work with, best sets and costumes. It has benefits (403b, pension). Off for a number of weeks in the summer.

      Inconvénients

      Long hours during the season. Difficult to get vacation days/nights off. Massive amount of memorizing in multiple languages on a deadline. Singers are super spreaders of all contagious diseases like Covid and flu.

      Avantages

      Excellent healthcare benefits, great location, really good people work here. The shows they put on are very high quality. It's a legacy organization.

      Inconvénients

      Relatively low pay, not the best communication between departments, some disorganization about management, and questionable financial choices made by senior management.
