Avantages

Some of the co-workers were kind and supportive, but that’s about the only positive thing I can think of.

Inconvénients

The workplace culture is extremely toxic. I was continually harassed and discriminated against to the point where I felt I had no choice but to leave. I would have definitely had a case with Fair Work given the severity of the treatment I endured, but I decided it was easier to walk away. Unfortunately, I wasn’t the only one — many employees experienced similar treatment. The turnover rate here is shockingly high, and management’s style is built on micromanagement and constant questioning rather than trust or respect.

Avantages

Flexibility to work autonomously from home and opportunity to make a difference for people leas fortunate. Good pay compared to similar roles. Thats it.

Inconvénients

P&C are an absolute nightmare to deal with. Good operators are thrown under the bus regularly and demoralised, whilst poor workers are a protected species. Front line teams aren't given the respect and appreciation they deserve and are treated as minions. Never have I experienced toxicity induced trauma like it.

Avantages

Working with the clients can be rewarding.

Inconvénients

Working with the clients exposes you to a lot of vicarious trauma and there isn't a lot of support for that. Senior leadership team needs to be completely refreshed. Organisation is KPI focused, not outcomes focused like they claim. If staff were treated even half as well as clients are, not only would there be a boost to morale and better retention, but they would far exceed even the most unrealistic KPIs. And let’s not forget the elephant in the room - wearing a name tag that says ‘Underpaid for Overqualified’.
