Avantages
Strong products, a good and well-known name makes it easier being a salesperson, good benefits package (but no work from home).
Inconvénients
Top-down management style, no interest at all to listen to ideas or input from employees, decisions are made at the top and then filtered down to the foot soldiers. Culture is very old-fashioned, face time is very important and seen as a proxy for how effective you are in your job. Come in early and leave late is the rule. Intensely political environment, very similar culture to a global investment bank but with worse quality people. As a salesperson your compensation has very low correlation with your sales or how well you do your sales target, political skills and appearance is everything.
