      No end of things to learn, seminars to attend, collaborations to be made. Flexible work schedule and good benefits. Energy of the campus and area. Students.

      Inconvénients

      Low pay - typical academic rates. Advancement opportunities for staff are not frequent. Typical 10 year wait for review for advancement from research to principal staff.
