Avantages

LogicSource is owned by Bain Capital and had that exciting type of environment that start ups tend to have at the beginning of their journey. Amazing office (costed a fortune to build out), good benefits, a lot of passion. That didn't last however. But it was fun while it did.

Inconvénients

Despite the massive funding, the business just never made money. The model wasn't scalable and the most valuable pieces of the business were driven out by the founders out of jealously. If I had to pinpoint one thing that permeated through the business it is this - instability. Employees never knew where they stood. It was a function primarily of the CEO, who was a very emotional and unstable guy to begin with. His penchant for talking behind people's backs created a culture that was very unhealthy.

Avantages

• Professional team members — Coworkers were supportive and easy to collaborate with. • Flexible remote work — Remote setup made day‑to‑day work manageable. • Client-facing experience — Gained experience working directly with clients.

Inconvénients

• Misleading hiring process — I was hired under the impression the client contract was being extended, but it ended shortly after I joined. • Last‑minute termination notice — I wasn’t informed the contract was ending until about a month before my employment was terminated. • No follow‑through on reassurances — Management said they were working to move me to another account, but no opportunities were ever presented even as new clients were onboarded. • Limited severance support — When my role was eliminated, the company only offered one week of severance, which felt insufficient given the circumstances and the lack of transparency around the contract. • Poor communication — Communication around contract status and employment stability was inconsistent and often delayed.
