I came on as part of an acquisition and from a much more modern technology culture, so my perception is colored. This is not a company I would have chosen for myself if interviewing, but the time isn't right to move for me personally, so here I am. Too much bureaucracy, too many fiefdoms, and too much old world thinking for my tastes. It's a good company for the right personality, but not for those that want to move fast, fail fast, and be on the cutting edge. Compensation is a bit out of sync with the competitive landscape from my perspective. This is partly due to being a global company and not realizing we are competing with the likes of Amazon and Google. Don't expect stock options, nap rooms, or cutting edge opportunities.
