Avantages

Avantages

Great Product, Challenging Leadership Culture - The product is innovative and continues to evolve. - Many of the individual contributors are talented, hardworking, and genuinely care about the company's success. - There are strong teams throughout the organization doing great work despite the challenges around them.

Inconvénients

Politics Often Outweigh Performance - Relationships and internal alliances often carry more weight than results and performance. Constantly Shifting Priorities - Leadership often chases the next shiny thing before existing initiatives have had time to mature or demonstrate results. Recognition and Visibility Challenges - Employees are frequently asked to take on responsibilities beyond their role with limited acknowledgment for their contributions. - There can be a disconnect between those doing the work and those receiving visibility for it. - Promotions and advancement can feel influenced more by relationships and politics than measurable outcomes. Accountability Flows Down, Credit Flows Up - When initiatives struggle, responsibility often falls on those executing the work while leadership decisions receive less scrutiny. Work-Life Balance Exists Mostly on Paper - Don't let perks like Second Fridays fool you; employees quickly learn that taking advantage of them can come at a cost if they want to advance. - Weekend messages, fire drills, and the expectation of constant availability are normalized. Turnover Raises Questions - Multiple employees have left within a short period of time, and departures continue across the organization. - If a team is hiring aggressively, it is worth asking why the role became available in the first place.
