Avantages
The people at KR are a huge plus - my coworkers (both attorneys and staff) were passionate about their jobs and had great senses of humor. I truly had fun with them and consider several of them friends. The work is also fascinating, important, and intellectually stimulating. Associates are quickly given a lot of responsibility and opportunities which, if you're up for it, is thrilling and rewarding.
Inconvénients
The hours are often long, both because the firm is very busy and because the billable hour requirement is 1950. And the nature of the work is such that you can't always predict how busy you'll be (although this is true for all litigation). Because it is a plaintiff's side firm, the salaries are lower than defense firms with comparable hour expectations. However, KR's compensation is competitive with other plaintiff's firms and it has more resources than a typical plaintiff's firm.
