Avantages
The ability to be flexible with time and location. I have the opportunity to work from home when necessary and when I travel. My ideas are appreciated and well received. I feel value to the team. The team is small and works well together. I have learned new things and have enjoyed feeling like I am a part of something important. While you are not within walking distance of restaurants, it is a city and nearly anything can be delivered quickly making breakfast, lunch and coffee quite easy to manage.
Inconvénients
It is a small team therefore, each person depends on each other to do their job. It is not technically an office so there is not any privacy while working on the premises only meaning that sometimes the environment can cater to whoever is 'cold' while others are hot. (Not a biggie, wear a sweater - use a fan). Conversations and training sessions on the phone with clients can interfere with other conversations with clients going on simultaneously in close proximity.
