* The office floods more often than it should, and when it happens you’re expected to figure it out by working from home or out of backup spaces that aren’t great
* There are basic respect issues that never get addressed, like people taking each other’s lunches, which says a lot about the culture
* The company talks a lot about diversity, but the office itself doesn’t really reflect that
* A lot of middle managers seem overwhelmed or unprepared to actually lead, so direction is often unclear
* There’s a weird pressure at times to take on things that aren’t really your responsibility
* When something goes wrong, it’s common for blame to get passed around instead of actually solving the problem
* Parts of the culture feel more like a clique than a professional workplace
* Drinking in the office is treated as normal and even encouraged, which can feel uncomfortable depending on the situation. At times, the environment became unprofessional during social events, and concerns around behavior did not seem to be taken seriously by HR.
* There are frequent breakdowns in execution, and things fall through the cracks more than they should
* The NYC office itself has a lot of ongoing issues and doesn’t feel well thought out for day to day work
