Avantages
Great place to start for tech sales. Get to know a lot of people. Free breakfast, lunch, swag. Access to new events. Lots of giveaways (Cash and Products). Some good people there. If you become a producer, you pretty much can make your own schedule. Hands off management as long as you can perform and ring the cash register. Lots of happy hours and networking events where you can meet people outside of the office.
Inconvénients
Too many people, not enough restrooms. The hands off strategy of management can lead to huge disconnect. If you need guidance, this is not the place for you. If you don't want to put in the hard work, you will complain that you are being micromanaged by the numbers. There is no real sales leadership in the management team, they are just managing the numbers, not the people. But there are still good managers there. If you are not a self starter you will flame out quickly, and the pay isnt worth it. Pay is super low vs. the industry standard. It takes a while to ramp up. You can sell a ton but not get a nice enough bonus to justify staying long term.
