      Location and initially an exciting project

      Inconvénients

      Lack of people managers in the right positions. Clear lack of experience with managers. Company culture is one of the worst I've been at driven by no clear direction from HR or again experience in management. Regional colleagues have more experience with head quarter functions than most head quarter employees. Poor structure and little to no support from senior management or HR leading to individuals being able to "make or break" your promotion chances.

      Avantages

      (Research site) coworkers are very smart, friendly, and helpful, open to teaching new skills and answering questions Workload is reasonable Hours are consistent, managers are flexible with hours and never picky about PTO

      Inconvénients

      Small department has limited career advancement opportunities, very seniority-based culture Strict budget, pay is mediocre Contractors will only get hired to fill vacancies (if someone quits/retires) Pressure from board to accelerate pipeline and generate profit without giving more resources
