Avantages
For those of you thinking about working at Human API, I would highly recommend that you take the negative reviews posted here with a grain of salt. I have been with Human API for only a short period of time, however, I'm glad that I did not see these reviews before joining as I probably would've turned in the other direction. My experience at Human API has been nothing short of awesome so far. I think there were a few employees here before I joined who weren't in agreement with the direction the company was taking (go-to-market strategy) and therefore refused to stick around. Some of the pros: - The company vision is clear. Short- and long-term goals are regularly communicated across the company. - There are open lines of communication with my direct manager as well as with upper management. I feel comfortable approaching upper management without the fear of being suppressed or overlooked. - The people are great. Everyone is genuinely nice and pleasant to work with! P.S. No one is forcing me to write this review. In fact, I hope no one tries to figure out who I am. The reason I'm writing this is because I can tell that the company has great potential. It is being run by genuine, passionate people who truly care about their employees. I've never felt slighted since joining. I believe this is just the beginning of a much longer story for Human API!
Inconvénients
Regular startup stuff. You have to be willing to wear different hats. Don't expect to be spoon fed and have your work dictated to you. If you favor autonomy, this is the perfect environment for you.
