Avantages

Close to home, free parking

Inconvénients

Management don't want your ideas. It's lip service in the interview making promises for an organisation that winter deliver and doesn't care. Below average pay for the Co-Ordinators and below. Workload increases for lower level staff, Management disappear for 3 hr coffees, don't contribute to lower level meetings, provide zero debriefs on events or any type of supportive interaction. A bad decision taking the job.

Avantages

There are a lot of very passionate people working incredibly hard in their roles to make a difference to their local community.

Inconvénients

Managerial positions are paid similar remuneration to other local councils, however this is not applicable to staff working in officer positions. There are extreme staff shortages due to restructuring and a lack of understanding of services and role responsibilities. Staff are leaving due to lack of appropriate remuneration, being overworked and undervalued.
