Inconvénients
Preferential treatment towards offshore/India-based and/or Indian nationals. As the result, program or project managers have no idea how to deliver. It seems that they master the skill of getting the commitment from the client on project but have no idea how to go about delivering it. When team members approach project manager for a guidance and expertise, he/she has not answer and instead recommends to go on youtube and watch some videos on the subject or leverage the documents from your previous employer (which is illegal!). I kid you not! Manager sent me documents from other clients he worked on and asked me to fix it up and present as ours. And that is not because he/she does not want to help, but because of lack of knowledge. We missed so many deadlines that they were forcing me not to charge for hours I put in (not the overtime hours). Every meeting was a disaster. Such a shame, very interesting project, yet end up resigning because I could not be in the environment with no leadership or knowledge. And one other thing, because everyone is Indian, sometimes you feel left out during the meeting because they decide to switch from English to non English.
