Avantages

Working as part of the Marketing team at GPS Insight gives me the opportunity to take real ownership of marketing strategy and execution. The role is highly cross-functional, collaborating closely with sales, partnerships, and leadership, which makes the work dynamic and impactful. There’s a lot of autonomy, I feel like I can make a noticeable difference. The company is growing, and that creates opportunities to test new ideas, build programs from the ground up, and expand my skill set. From the executive team down, everyone is supportive and helpful, the work environment is positive.

Inconvénients

Like many growing organizations, priorities can shift quickly, and processes aren’t always fully defined. This can lead to some ambiguity and the need to adapt on the fly. Resource constraints can occasionally make it challenging also. But, this type of environment also provides the opportunity to make changes and create processes as needed.

Avantages

There are so many passionate, intelligent and hardworking teammates across the organization. It’s clear that people genuinely care about the work and about supporting each other. The executive team makes an effort to listen to teammate feedback and is open to making improvements where it makes sense. Over the last two years especially, there have been noticeable improvements in communication, transparency and culture. Compensation is very fair for a software company in the markets where GPS Insight operates. The benefits package is also strong, including traditional healthcare, vision and dental coverage, 401k matching and additional perks like company lunches and stocked pantries in the office. The offices are welcoming environments where pets are allowed and there are many opportunities for recognition so teammates feel appreciated and valued!

Inconvénients

Like many companies, there has been a return-to-office policy (Monday–Thursday). That said, the company does offer Flex Fridays where teammates can work from home, which helps provide some balance.

Avantages

You can actually talk to the people running things here which honestly surprised me. I've heard horror stories from friends at other companies where leadership is totally untouchable but that's just not the case here. Someone higher up will genuinely stop and hear you out and it doesn't feel like a performance. The recent manager shuffles have also been a good sign. It feels like things are actually being thought through instead of just left the way they've always been. Stuff that felt stuck is starting to move and that makes a difference when you're new and trying to figure out where you fit.

Inconvénients

There are a few people who have clearly been here forever and act like that gives them a pass to treat people however they want. We're talking openly rude, dismissive, and sometimes just straight up aggressive toward coworkers for no real reason. A couple of them are so loud on the floor it's honestly kind of jarring, like full volume conversations and the occasional yelling that makes it hard to focus. The worst part is nothing seems to happen about it. Everyone sees it and everyone knows who it is. When certain people never face any consequences it starts to feel pretty demoralizing especially when you're new and just trying to do your job.
