Avantages
The focus on aviation and aerospace in phenomenal here. As an aerospace engineering graduate, I cannot recommend it enough. I am getting my masters in a state school right now. Even though the department is well known, the kind of connections you make at Riddle is unique. The availability of professors to answer question and take you on as a research student is amazing. Even state schools (with more funding) won't have that kind of opportunity. Is aviation is what you want to do, and you want to be an engineer, this is the place to be. From an employee stand point, the management has been great. It is not a typical college. Professors, who want to do research, are overloaded. It is a teaching school, not research focused.
Inconvénients
Unfortunately, the good thing about Riddle is also its worst part. You are not going to have a normal college life (which was fine for me..I wanted a solid foundation in aerospace engineering). You will be surrounded with airplanes, airplane geeks, and a lot of focused single mixed people. The trouble is that if you are someone who is not so sure about their interests and are coming to college to explore, Riddle might be too intense for you.
