Sick Pay We have a sick pay policy an extract is below (which is also in your contact of employment): We have a contractual sick/injury pay scheme which, on completion of a successful probationary period, provides payment during periods of certificated sickness for 20 days in any 12-month period. However, in line with SSP no payment of contractual sick/injury pay will be made for the first 3 days of any absence. For any certified sickness in excess of 20 days, you may be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay, providing you meet the eligibility criteria.
