To work in a small startup social media firm, you need to have focus, a tough skin, and to recognize and take responsibility for your role in the company. It's not a job where you can just "do what you're told," you have to take initiative and be proactive in your work. This is what I love about this place: I feel like an important asset. Plus, it's social media, so it's at the forefront of the culture-- really fun if you're into social media networking, business communication and staying up-to-date. Honestly the coolest job I have ever had.

Again if you don't have a strong work ethic or you don't have a thick skin, this job will not suit you.
