Inconvénients
The work environment is toxic. Employees are treated as if in high school. Management monitors what time you arrive and leave work. As a salaried employee, even if you work extra hours in a week, if you need to take time off for a doctor's appointment you are required to take sick, personal or vacation time. If you are considered "a favorite", you receive better increases with lower increases for those who aren't so the favorites can exceed the required pay range for raises. The employees who receive the lease recognition are the ones who work the hardest . This is a small company, so there is very little room for promotion. There is no work/life balance because you are expected to work extra hours when they demand it or face being fired. The president of the company can't remember from one day to the next discussions and decisions made. His management style is that from the '70s and does not consider any progressive employment options. The president will have all hands meetings and everyone just discounts the drivel he spouts because over and over he has exaggerated the company's forecast.
