Extremely rewarding, 1-1 interactions, close knit team, support and help from all of the team, family orientation and ability for progression.

Poorly paid for the work involved. In small schools TA’S do nearly as much as the teachers but paid a lot less. TA’S are very much under appreciated. We actually teach lessons, have much more contact with the students and have as much paperwork to complete such as induction logs and EEPS.

Getting to support young people who need direction and support that myself and my team offer. We strive for good outcomes

I have no cons, other than needing to stop working sometimes, otherwise I spend all night on my laptop :-)
