Avantages
From my experience it has one of the friendliest management team. For starters, good work is always appreciated and negative feedback ,if any ,is communicated immediately. So no shockers during appraisal. The management's approach is ask and it shall be given(as long as it is reasonable of course :) ) , talk to us if you have a complain and we will try to resolve it. And it is a company which is always evolving trying to make things a bit easier on it's engineers
Inconvénients
Every release is a pressure cooker situation waiting to happen. Focus is on the time taken to complete projects rather than design , though they are trying to change this off late . Initial builds (nearly 30 weeks) are spent on fixing issues in previous release, then comes a mad race to complete new projects within limited time available and next comes complains about regression and bad designs. We need more resources , more time, a proper design and proof of concept to be reviewed by senior management before any project is approved and lastly reasonable expectation from each engineer.
