Where do I start.... 1) HR doesn't take complaints seriously. Not just with employee conflict, but issues with racism, sexism, nepotism, and overall unfairness. Even if the handbook says otherwise. There may be an "open door policy", but no one has an open mind. It just makes you a target. 2) PTO policy only favors the company. You accumulate at such a small rate. You're allowed to "go negative" but that will end up hurting you in the end. You can never recover that balance. They shut down for two weeks at the end of the year. If you work in production, you either have PTO or just don't work for two weeks. During the holidays. 3) Not enough pay for the amount of work you do. There's a huge disconnect in your job description to your everyday tasks. If you're a hard worker, you won't get promoted, you'll just get more work. 4)They claim to post job listings internally first to allow current employees a chance to apply. But they always end up doing outside hires. There's also no communication from management on how you could improve as an employee to get to the point of growth in your career. This policy has also proven to not be true in many cases. They can and will utilize a hiring agency for outside hires and never post the job. 5) The review process is an absolute joke. Your goals can't possibly be met. The company is always in a state of chaos. It's supposed to be reviewed by you and several of your superiors. It's basically a self evaluation. 6) Zero lack of accountability between departments when things go wrong. It instantly becomes a blame game instead of finding solutions to move forward. Every day something goes wrong from either a system error, or human error. Often it's both working in conjunction to ruin your day. 7) You're expected to work mandatory overtime, but they can send you home without much notice. Your can miss half days worth of pay and this isn't an infrequent occurrence. 8) Zero work/life balance. You can be there some weeks 50 hours. With short breaks.
