Avantages

Yearly Dollywood trip and silent charity auction are both a lot of fun. Treatment/support of employees with illness is something to be proud of.

Inconvénients

Management is a challenge. They talk down to employees, talk about each other, feed office gossip, and they micro manage. There is no HR department, only an outside consultant who is not on site to see what is happening. The environment is hostile and passive aggressive retaliation is a real issue.

Avantages

Benefits, time off, paid holidays, senior management actually cares about all employees (not just the supervisors and managers). Annual survey results are thoroughly reviewed and they take immediate action to address employee concerns

Inconvénients

Lack of advancement opportunity (when you do move, it's normally a lateral move with no salary increase). Work can become tedious and boring, especially in the "off season".

Avantages

- Family Oriented - Great Hours - Knowledgeable Employees

Inconvénients

- Several senior managers seem disconnected from their employees - Extremely limited growth potential - No bonus/incentive program - Management tends to make decisions without fully understanding how it will affect other processes down the line. - Certain managers don't have a grasp on how their department directly affects other departments and a change in their process can have major impact on others. - Turnover rate is extremely high for a small company
