Avantages
You really learn the business working for Blue Ridge. Because they do all of their own work, you get experience in all areas of pool construction. Also, regular pay raises and opportunities to rise within the company are great. As a small company, all employees get to know one another well. Hard workers are rewarded.
Inconvénients
The work environment is about what you'd expect from a construction company. Hot long days, dirty work, etc. In addition, the training isn't the best. It's basically a learn by doing (and re-doing) approach. Also many job sites are pretty far away from the office, thus there is a lot of driving involved.
