Good trade to learn. Good reputation with customers, steady work most of the time. Office lady will work hard to keep you working during slow season
Inconvénients
Very negative environment. Most employees are upset over something. You will get reprimanded for the smallest mistakes and never recognized for a good job or going above and beyond. Forget about raises. Pay scale is non existent, it is based on what one particular person thinks you deserve. I personally went 3 years without anything close to a raise despite spending many hours of my personal time dedicated to the company and helping customers. Was made promises at time of hire that were never followed through with. Owner does not trust employees despite putting them in decision making positions. Second guesses every decision you will make and will at times change the decision you make even after you have already told customer. Just a very negative, distrustful work environment. You are expected to care and give your all for a company that doesn't do the same in return. Of course I am a disgruntled former employee, but I would have written the same review while I was still employed there I believe.
