Decent opportunity, poor culture and management - Avis employé Sales Engineer Autonomy Technology

Stick to work hours 7-4pm

Can be a competitive environment , and members are quick to point fingers at a problem rather than try and solve it

-Late start time of 9am

-Ownership is deceitful. I was given a salary figure during the interview process by the CEO, but the figure on the offer was much lower than what was previously discussed and agreed to initially. After bringing that up, I was told they just wanted to do a 3 month probationary period to make sure I stuck around and was capable of doing the job, at which point they would then bump up my salary. Unfortunately, that never happened, even after I brought it up several times. -Lack of leadership and accountability. Characteristics of the Leadership Team (CEO, CFO, etc) would be narcissistic and toxic. They would point fingers at others rather than taking accountability or trying to change the work environment for the better by listening to the employees when they would voice their concerns. -Considerably lower pay relative to comparative jobs/duties. -Micromanaging culture. -Owner/CEO never took action or responded to employee concerns with company culture and toxic environment. -Rampant gossiping -Finger pointing/blame game.
