Avantages
In my 7+ years with Asia Insight, I witnessed the ups and downs of wins and losses, fat bonuses, difficult clients, economic downturn, and very sadly, lay-offs. What strikes me most is how the management dealt with each challenge. Every decision was made with their employees’ best interest in mind – no doubt, there were times when I was frustrated with management, and I can’t say that every decision ever made was right, they are not perfect; but I was always assured that as long as I did my best for them, they would have my back. I have seen young people join the company, given the opportunity to challenge themselves and rise above the ranks. There were others, like me, who lacked confidence, and were mentored to turn their weaknesses into strengths. It is a two way relationship – ultimately, we have to take full responsibility for our careers, and the support you get from your company will give you your best chance to thrive and excel. Asia Insight is one of those companies that will support you, give you the opportunity to grow, and learn skills that you never thought were within the scope of your job. It is hard work, but if you are one who truly cares about your own development, you won’t be disappointed.
Inconvénients
The work can get pretty intense at times, both in terms of physical hours, and the stress associated with the work. However, that should not come as a surprise for those familiar with this industry. A fair distribution of workload can sometimes be a challenge.
