Avantages
Growth Opportunity - They prioritize internal applicants over external and the company has many different departments. If you are a worker that continually gains knowledge you can eventually branch to other areas and move up. Work Environment - The areas I have experienced the work expectations are high but reasonable. Management has been consistently looking out for their employees. Being a technology company with low bandwidth requirements (you generally aren't required to shuttle huge file around frequently) opportunities to work from home abound. They don't ask too many questions as long as your productivity remains.
Inconvénients
Insurance is fairly expensive, but this isn't unique. This is an economy-wide problem in the US that only the largest and most profitable companies can manage.
