Job Description
We are looking for a detail oriented and curious Executive of Delivery Contracts. As the Executive of Delivery Contracts, you will be responsible to build a network of logistics service contractors to complement our air freight to enable door-to-door delivery of parcels. You will be tasked to develop working relationships with vendors/3rd party service providers, conduct a detailed analysis of legal documents and develop an understanding of deep operational needs. You will be working with a team of 2-3 people in RedQ. This role is on a full time basis and reports to the Manager of Delivery Contracts.
You will fit perfectly in this role if you are comfortable navigating ambiguous environments and interpreting complex legal documents. You will stand out if you have the ability to balance attention to details, and the ability to step back, connect the dots and look at things from a more conceptual lens i.e.: still be able to separate the forest from the trees.
A DAY IN A LIFE
As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:
Build a pool of logistics service providers who are able to support Teleport's requirements for first-mile delivery, customs declaration and clearance, last-mile delivery and additional logistics services
Work closely with the Delivery Operations Teams and Growth Teams to define go-to-market strategy, service needs and priority geographies / routes for door-to-door deliveries
Produce contract documentation and change controls and ensure timely signatures by authorised personnel
Collate contract document and proactively gather and process relevant data for effective contract management
Develop effective working relationships with contractors
Assist with service reviews and actively follow issues through until satisfactory resolution
Monitor contractors performance against SLAs
Support Finance in the reconciliation of invoices, to ensure that the charges are in accordance to the contract executed

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
At least an undergraduate degree, any discipline
0-3 years working experience in contracts management (preferably logistics fields)
