Project Manager

Daintree Industries Ltd, located in Squamish BC, is a high-end Residential and Commercial Design and Manufacturing firm looking to expand our team. We are looking for a Project Manager to service our multitude of local and international clients and dealers of our product, ‘Liquid Systems’ (lsracks.com). This role requires someone who is excellent at planning, can wear many hats and has excellent communication skills to wrangle all the parties to the table.

Project Management

· Point of contact on all Liquid Systems projects – internally and externally

· See project through from design stage/initial quote process to final product delivery and ensure all deliverables are met on time and within budget

· Field customer requests

· Set lead times and project workflows based on material availability and other factors

· Manage project logistics – delivery and international freight

Technical

· Familiarity and comfort with database systems as they relate to project and production management, in particular overseeing scheduling and inventory. Experience using Spire software an asset

· Sales management – prepare quotes, sales orders, invoices and oversee accounts receivable

· Ability to use Auto-CAD and read design drawings. Use CAD to draft and prepare shop drawings for review and the manufacturing process.

· Must be comfortable using Microsoft 365, MS Office Suite and Google Suite. Adobe Creative Suite considered an asset.

Purchase

· Managing the supply chain; estimating and ordering all raw materials

· Forecasting and planning around inventory management and growth

· Seeking out the right suppliers and negotiating terms

Financials

· Produce monthly sales reports

· Analyze sales data to inform business decisions

Marketing

· Perform market research and onboard new dealers to help expand outreach of product

· Update marketing material as needed

· Support marketing strategy and brand awareness initiatives

· Host product knowledge training for new dealers

Staff Management

· Go to person for team and scheduling – handle questions and requests from manufacturing team, sub-contractors, and business owners

· Day to day management of LS team
