Occupational Therapy Services is a private clinic offering individualized paediatric services to children and their care-givers in Brantford, New Credit and Six Nations, Brant, Haldimand-Norfolk, Oxford and Wentworth counties. Our clinic also offers physiotherapy and dental hygiene/oral myofunctional/sports-guard services for children. Becoming a trusted paediatric hub in our community is our long-term goal. Visit our website to see a comprehensive list of what we can offer https://thatslifeotservices.ca/ *The successful candidate possesses the ability to: * * Assess aspects of development, motor, sensory, cognition, social-emotional and self- regulation skills * Provide family-focused services involving children and their care-givers to determine goals and treatment plans that address their identified interests and needs * Individualize treatment allowing for intervention to be completed either in-clinic, virtually, at home or in community settings depending on client-identified needs. * Demonstrate strong telephone, in-person, and written communication skills to ensure efficient and targeted services. Parent-education and collaboration with other community services are valued components of our intervention to support change beyond therapy appointments * Utilize excellent clinical observation skills, standardized assessment skills and interpretation of findings for on-going information sharing and collaborative treatment planning * Self-direct and innovate when developing treatment activities, schedule and manage time. We use electronic charting with JaneApp and an online client account platform for data sharing. On-site parking Clinic space includes office workspace, clinic rooms, gross motor gym and access to clinic resources.
