    Phone Screen, Call with Manager, Take home assignment.

    Take home assignment was apparently "not up to standard" - Less than 1% error in the results, exhibited a 100K lift. Asked what the specific reason was for the rejection - ghosted. Assuming you just stole my code because you don't have a data scientist on to sufficiently judge the code, or really understand what I was doing. Or perhaps they never planned on hiring me in the first place. I've had very many take home assignments and very many technical interviews. I know what I need to work on in each one - in this one something strange was going on.

    Either way the message of "not up to our expectations" when you have little to no expectations and can't give me a proper reason signals that something underhanded is afoot. The hiring manager was also weird about next steps (side eye signaling lying by omission). So I'm assuming you didn't really want to hire me, but felt welcome to steal ideas from those applying - which is what sub par companies do.

    Kind of glad I don't work here then.
