    Entretien de Flight Attendant

    Candidat à l'entretien anonyme
    Aucune offre d'embauche
    Expérience négative

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris +2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien à Spirit Airlines.

The application process isn't that bad. You submit online, take a personality survey, and then get invited out to a hiring event; mind, the time frame may be a few weeks or might take a couple of months (mine did), don't get discouraged. You are responsible for your travel to and from the hiring event. The reason I am marking the interview as "negative" is because I did not like the hiring event, I actually ended up leaving after the first hour/intro speech. The staff (who were incredibly nice) kept referring to everyone as "rockstars" and who wants to be the next "rockstar" to join their team. Then they had us stand up and cheer if you wanted to join the team, then had us chant, and do a bunch of silly stuff like that. Honestly, it felt more like I was rushing a sorority then at a professional job interview. That turned me off of the whole thing and I turned in my resume/packet to a recruiter and left. I realized my personality wasn't the best fit for the company and I didn't like their work model that (to me) lacked professionalism and focused more on indoctrination. That being said, the individual people I met at the hiring event were all incredibly nice and helpful, staff and applicants alike. Spirit wasn't the right fit for me, but maybe it is for you! If you are on the fence about applying, I say do it and go to the hiring event, see for yourself. It's not a bad company, just not the right fit for me.
*NOTE they tell everyone if you aren't feeling the interview that day you can turn in your resume after the intro speech without 'getting in trouble' and you'll be invited to a different interview later. That was not my case, I haven't been invited to another recruiting event. So if you go, only turn in your resume if you know you don't want to join Spirits team.
