Je travaille chez Hotjar à plein temps (Moins d'un an)

    - The people at Hotjar are incredible (talented, no egos, hard-working, and fun to be around)
    - The CEO knows the company, employees, and market well. He truly cares about building a sustainable business where people love to go to work
    - Hotjar has many loyal customers and they play a genuine role in the constant development and improvement of the product... customer-centricity isn't just a buzzword!
    - The company is values-driven...vales are used as a practical tool to help people have autonomy

Not a con as such but as the company grows and becomes more specialized, we'll have to work even harder to maintain the great culture that's been built up until now.

    Entretien de Customer Support

    Candidat à l'entretien anonyme - Hamilton, ON
    Aucune offre d'embauche
    Expérience positive
    Difficulté moyenne

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris +4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien à Hotjar (Hamilton, ON) en octobre 2019.

I applied for their Customer Support (Remote) role for North America.

At the time when I applied, they had a "Be Bold and Move Fast" initiative, so the process for me may have been different than what others had experienced. There would be 3 stages to the process:

    a) Informal meeting
    b) Interview with another (senior) member of the team
    c) A 2 week task (paid) to see how you perform doing various tasks.

I only made it to the second interview.

The first "interview" was a 15 minute chat with the head of the team, and she just wanted to get to know a bit more about me, why I applied, and answer any questions I had. It was quite informal, more of a chit-chat type thing.

The next process was with another member of the team. The questions asked weren't what I expected and practiced (e.g. tell me about yourself, strengths/weaknesses), but they made sense for the position. I only made it to the second level of the interview. However, overall, it was a positive experience. They let me know quickly (usually within 3 days) whether I had or hadn't made it to the next part of the process. Although the process took longer than I anticipated, I don't feel that they wasted my time.

*Also, the interview was online. Although I put in this review that the interview took place in Canada, it actually took place over Google Hangouts.*

    Questions d'entretien d'embauche

    • I don't remember exactly how the questions were worded, but in the second interview, they had asked something like:

      - How would you make a case for a product
      - Something about creating another support method (I think)
      - Constructive criticism you've received in the past
      - I also think they may have asked if I had experience with billing/invoicing   Répondre à cette question
