    Avantages

The culture was, keywork was, awesome.

    Inconvénients

The acquisition had a huge corporate culture mismatch, so many of us felt that there was no longer a chance for any career growth. Wipro heavily favors underpaying newer resources rather than rewarding experience.

    Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien à Appirio.

    Entretien

Four phone/Google hang-out interviews and one in-person panel interview. Pleasant people, friendly process. This is a period of transition for the company, which was acquired by Wipro one year ago. The issue at this juncture is confusing with what this role is/should be or will be - with what it is - which led to mixed messages and a degree of confusion on my end. As a strategy and business consultant I fully understood the challenges, risks and opportunities Appirio has given the company's desired future state - however, this lengthy process went awry by not focusing enough on current / legacy job requirements. I may have been a great fit for the future state - but did not fulfill the technology implementation skills (CRM/Salesforce) desired in its current state - which were not discussed during the 5 interview process. I brought this up during my first interview to ensure clarity and alignment - but was told other attributes were more important. Evidently, the combination of a software architect, senior sales leader and technology consultant in the end wanted more of the same. That is perfectly acceptable - I just wish everyone had been on the same page on this from the start. All in all, I still enjoyed meeting everyone.
