Teaching grads from any background to code
Good starting salary for grads, but slow increases
Made some good friends while I worked there
The tech stack is very old and deskills staff
Virtually have no career progression opportunities for midlevel/senior staff
The managers are very old fashioned and are people who are only promoted because they have been there 10+ years
The old boys club at the top blocks changes and new ideas
Very slow changing company
The majority of roles have very little consulting and do not match the job spec that they present to candidates
A lot of staff is demotivated since the work is uninteresting and the whole platform is legacy

Stop running the company like an old boys club and actually make some real changes otherwise more staff will leave!
Listen to developers and modernise the stack and dev practices!

A 20 minute telephone interview. Ran through a few of my motivations and then mainly focused on the company. Required detailed knowledge of the company as well as what asset finance is. Unfortunately, they didn't call on the right day as HR messed up the dates somehow.
