    J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien à Shopify (Wellington, Wellington (Nouvelle-Zélande)) en juillet 2019.

    Entretien

    The interview process is very clear and they send you a 13 page guidebook about the role, interview process etc, all in advance of the first phone interview conversation.
    This first call is supposed to be very casual, they simply asked questions about my life experiences etc (all of which I expected on this call)
    What I did not expect was for the interviewer to have a very fake 'this is informal' kind of tone..I did not get the impression she was genuinely interested in speaking with me at all, which made it quite hard to connect with her. Even though I'd been vetted through the first two application steps, this interviewer didn't even take the time to know where I lived within the country (nor did she know where it was anyways - she was calling from Canada, I live in NZ).
    If you're looking for advice on how to nail this interview, I have no idea what would work - maybe just brown-nosing and brag about having your own Shopify store (seems like that's all they want to feature about their employees on their website).
    I have been working as a Sales/Account manager at a Xero Accounting firm and have helped numerous businesses set-up and use Shopify for the last two years, so I have no idea what makes me unqualified for this role..but best of luck to all you Gurus out there..Will be an interesting/stressful place to work for the next few years of fierce competition with Amazon.
