    Avantages

    The job is easy and the product is not very complex - A robot could do the job better. The "sales" cycle is usually very short and it is easy to make money if you have solid leads.

    Inconvénients

    Upper management has no idea what it is doing. It is one thing to be a "high-growth" company, but it is another to just be lucky. Inogen is the latter and sadly that luck is running thin.
    If you want to work at a callcenter, awesome, go for it. You will be happy. If you are an actual salesperson with experience, go elsewhere. This is not a sales job. It might have been once upon a time but those days are gone. Here, you will answer the phone, qualify a patient based off of one conversation and decide if it is worth your time to nag them long enough until they inevitably buy the product/die/or are ineligible through insurance. If you don't, the next person will. You are essentially a vulture squirrel (you hoard the leads you get and wait for them to make their decision).
    Your paycheck depends on the leads you receive and those have decreased with the mass hirings. Quality leads (people with spending money) dramatically decreased and W2 statements did as well. Inogen touts a high OTE, but a base of 30k and unqualified leads to nag will not get you close to a livable wage in Santa Barbara.
    There are people who have been there forever and they will likely stay forever. As stated above, it is an easy product and doesn't require much bandwidth to "sell" the product.
    There is no career growth. You can be a DTP rep for 1,00,000 years if you want.

    TL;DR
    If you have experience, get a real sales job. If you're fresh out of UCSB and no other company in SB is interested in you - go for it, but don't stop looking for a new job. This might get you through an extra summer after graduating and you can use it on a resume, just don't settle here.
