J'ai travaillé chez Government of Canada à temps partiel
A lot of awesome people to work with, as a indeterminate employee you have the protection to speak your mind to management in a respectful way of course. The benefits are decent, particularly the maternity/paternity benefits, which are some of the best in the world. Generally their is a lot of stability in a unstable world.
Can be very frustrating, the IT systems are failing, pay system is completely broken, can be heavy file load, less than stellar senior management and to much focus on process than results.

J'ai postulé via une autre source. Le processus a pris +8 mois. J'ai passé un entretien à Government of Canada (Vancouver, BC) en juillet 2019.
The interview follows a very scripted process. Questions asked will be related to those on the posting and specifically the essential or asset criteria. The competencies all have defined criteria that you as the applicant will have to demonstrate how you have those qualifications. Specifically, you will need to state when, where, for how long, you were able to gain the experience.
