    J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris +2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien à Deloitte (New York, NY (États-Unis)).

    Entretien

    Had the first screening 30 minutes interview over Microsoft teams. The interviewer was pretty rude and condescending. It seems he was looking for someone with more professional experience and while my resume showed a lot of full stack development he kept mentioning that he would be more comfortable with someone that know that has been working with their tech stack for a while. So he decided to quiz me about React to gauge how much I really knew about the framework. Upon correctly answering his questions he ends the interview saying that he wouldn't put me in for the second interview but since I performed well on his questions that he would put me up for a second and let his manager decide.

    Over a month passes by and I never heard a response from them so I thought he never put me through for the second interview. But then I got an email from the recruiter saying that deloitte would like to extent an offer no second interview required. I call her immediately thinking is a mistake, she proceeds to tell me that they also have not heard anything from deloitte in over a month and they got a call that day and indicated that they wanted to hire everyone that they have interviewed so far because they need to fill up a lot of vacant immediately.

    At this point I had another offer pending but the pay and benefits deloitte kept offering was better. So I ask for a formal offer from them and they said they would get it by the end of the week. Week ends and I never received the offer. Come Monday the recruiter reached out again to say that instead of extending the offer they mention deloitte wants to schedule another round of interviews for those interested. After all this mess I decided to decline the next interview and proceeded to accept the offer that I had pending which I almost declined.
