Starting pay for "Event Specialist" (person who is out on the floor demoing/sampling product) is above average retail pay - $11 / hr.
Six hours on your feet, standing in one spot . Never gave out raises; claimed there was a "freeze" because of poor business conditions. Hours are very sporadic - one week you might work six hours, another you might work eighteen, but rarely did you ever get more hours than that. I was in line to be a supervisor, and the pay would've been equivalent to $14 / hr, but it was salaried, and the weeks for supervisors/DMs/RMs were always more than forty hours. Supervisors are not too high quality, and their training seems non-existant, so if you have a supervisor with a natural ability, that's great, but if not, watch out!

Once again, you're very generous to the top echelon, but the people on the bottom rungs who are expected to jump when you say to are rather ignored. Pay competitive wages for supervisors, district managers, regional managers to get quality people, not people who are simply breathing and desperate for a job.
