1) Azure is cloud-based and I had the impression that they were not using the cloud, so the question seemed irrelevant. I told them you don't use Azure unless you're using the cloud. 2) A fair question about an html specific language that most people don't use but this agency apparently did. I told them I didn't use it. 3) As DBA's we would ETL the data regardless of the tool used. The reporting platforms have different use cases and I tried explaining this to the interviewer but she didn't seem to see the point. I had the impression that she had looked up the question on the internet and was expecting a specific answer. 4) I told them to use the If/else statement equivalent in DAX, and referenced a similar scenario with divide by zero that I had encountered in PowerBI. 5) A bit of a loaded question because you can remote into a SQL Server on a non-Microsoft machine. But SQL Server can only be installed on a Microsoft machine (as of the date of the interview). The interviewer thought I was wrong when I said yes. She had asked multiple non-sensible questions by that point so I let it go. 6) They wanted to know if I was ok with database development. I told them yes. Moins
