I was asked repeatedly to bring previous company projects printed for them to see (In my view I did not feel comfortable providing this or being asked of this). First few minutes, the HR lady talks about company and some minor formalities followed by the director of engineering. He will ask you detailed questions about your experience, technical knowledge and start looking at your projects that they requested. They asked detailed questions in regards to the projects. The director will give you a scenario to how you would approach a design. Your will be asked of your salary in your previous companies even though they advertised the salary they would offer for this position. Lastly the HR lady notified me of high number of applicants for this position.

Talked about my experience and previous companies. Did my best to showcase my design expertise when provided with the scenario. Lastly, if you are rejected, the company will not provide feedback as a professional courtesy should you do a follow up. You will be thoroughly ignored. Moins

Tell about a time when you had to deal with a difficult individual. How did you handle it?

1 réponses

When faced with a difficult person, it is important to ensure that good communications are at the forefront of your mind. The goal is to determine what the conflict is (if any), and either how to work through it or to find out what the issue is. Through good communication, level headedness, and the willingness to compromise, you can give yourself the best liklihood of some kind of resolution. If it is a situation of dealing with an irrational difficult person, it is best to remain calm, and try your best to continue talking with them in a non-patronizing way. Moins
