Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

3 réponses

Working my way up the ladder.

In 5 years I would still like to be in the East Bay working with afterschool programs as well as with kids in small groups especially with literacy intervention. I would like to gain more skills so I can move more into a supervisorial/mentoring role Moins

I plan to continue in the field of education with small groups and afterschool programming particularly with elementary youth in literacy intervention and want to become skilled enough to mentor new teachers Moins

TERRA Staffing Group

What do you think are the negative aspects of my personality?

3 réponses

I talk to my staff asking them what they see is the need for change and their suggestion for the change. I take it under advisement, and when a decision is made, ask them to please give the change a chance to work before dismissing it. I have found that this works well, and allows the changes a fighting chance to work. If they don't work, at least they had a fair opportunity to work before being discarded. Moins

I am a bit of a workaholic. I don't have a clock in my head, and will work late into the night if left to my own devices. I also do not know when to stop once I am buried in a project. I need my staff to tell me when it is quitting time or when to stop, or I may work them to death. Moins

I think that the aspects of your position require you to be very demanding of your staff, however I feel that you probably communicate those needs in a manner that is not harsh or demeaning. Moins

Im currently single and I have a dog.

HUGE NO-NO in the hiring world. Potential employers CANNOT ask about marital status and kids. YOu can sue them if they do! Moins

That's a huge lawsuit waiting to happen. It is completely illegal to ask such questions. Someone failed HR 101. Moins

How are you going to be able to handle the high stress of getting enough leads while attending school and staying on top of school work.

3 réponses

It doesn't matter what you answer, if you want to do College Works, they'll hire you. No exaggeration. No joke. They will hire you if you tell them you want the job. Moins

Not true at all. As a District Manager why would we want to hire people who wouldn't be able to preform? It would be a waste of our time and we would lose money because of it. Maybe this was your policy and that is why you are a "former" District Manager. Moins
