First, a telephonic interview mostly dealing with algorithms and data structures, in a language of your choice, as mentioned in Resume.
My preference was Java.
The Interview went on for about 45 mins, it was more like discussion where the interviewer expected you to know how hashtables work, if hashtables are the best data structure for the given situation.

Most think it is, but we need to talk about conflicts and conflict resolution.

Alternate data structures like trees should be considered.

The second round was an online quiz test. Depending upon ur degree, the difficulty of the quiz is determined I believe.

Didnt go as I had wanted. Few questions were on data structures, mcqs. Then two coding questions.
One was straightforward, required efficient use of a data structure. Second question was unexpectedly on dynamic programming which I was not able to code.

Imp - Be very very familiar with the hackerrank environment. They allow you to code in your IDE and you can later copy paste into the browser, but make sure you are properly reading the input. Secondly, make sure you submit the answer, even if its wrong or incomplete.

    Started with talking to recruiter who asked about my interest and some basic HR questions and scheduled a technical phone interview with the director of engineering department. During the Technical phone interview which continued for 1 hour, I was asked some behavioral questions first and then 2 technical questions and some brain teasers. After this round I was sent an online test which had 6 questions out of which 4 were multiple choice and 2 were coding problems. Then later was called for Onsite interview in their Foster City office where I had 3 rounds but only one was technical. This is because when I reached onsite I was told that I will be interviewing for testing position rather than SDE position.

    I had a 30 minute in person interview with a manager. After passing this step, I had an online assessment which contained 1 coding problem and 4 MCQs. This was followed by a 30 minute interview with the team I will be joining. And the final step was an interview with the VP of VISA.

    First round was a technical interview with questions about past projects, technologies worked on and how does google maps and analytics works. After this, a hackerrank coding was sent with 90 minutes duration and 3 coding questions and 4 mcqs. This was very tough. All the 3 coding questions were dp.

    Technical phone interview was good, coding challenge was very difficult. 7 questions: 3 coding questions, 4 multiple choice questions. All coding questions were dynamic programming questions. One of the questions did not make sense and I explicitly stated to the recruiter afterward my concerns with the question asked and that I did not understand and would like some clarification if possible. Did not receive anything except an email stating I would not be moving forward.

    After completing that, there was a Skype conference call, where I had 3 45-minute interviews with different team members. All were technical, and all asked about various things.

    The first round is a 30 minute technical phone interview. It was fun to go through the questions with the interviewer especially beacause he was hinting me whenever I got stuck. I was asked basic data structure and algorithm questions (example - how would design a random number generation function, what data structure would you use to store the web pages visited by a user as he clicks on the forward and back buttons in the browser). Just try to think as logically as possible!

    Second round was a hackerrank challenge - 3 questions. Could solve only 2, was rejected after this.

    Applied online and received a hacker rank invitation about a week later. This was a position in their Palo Alto offices. I received a rejection a few days later as I was nervous and messed up some questions due to time constrained.
