    Expect a very lengthy hiring process. A typical interview would be purely behavioral with repeated questions focusing on one particular principle or skill that they are looking for. Some interview process would require an assignment submission or case study which would involve another 2 hours of assessing your skill set. I received immediate feedback which is something that you don’t see from many organization. Only cons is though UW boast about diversity throughout its recruiting process, but they don’t seem to intake candidates from diverse background - especially in PM and BA roles. They should re- access the hiring practices to see if they could genuinely hire a diverse candidate.

    Good experience. Helpful faculty and students. Great facility to do research. Teaching workload may vary between departments, but overall seems to have sufficient support for graduate TAs. UW is not an intimidating environment, and Seattle is a great place to live too.

    The email to schedule the phone interview was exceptionally condescending and was sent by someone who has been with the university for for almost 15 years and is a "Manager, Talent Acquisition.

    It was 2 1-hour panel interviews (back to back) via Zoom. Questions were very easy, in fact, I was expecting more technical questions. I knew I was overqualified for the role, but I thought I'd try it since the work involves end to end business process improvements.

    It happened nearly 3 weeks ago. I followed up with the Program Assistant last week for any kind of update, and I didn't hear back. I followed up again this week, and I didn't hear back yet again.

    For an educational institution, I expected better...professionalism. I can take 'nay' - I've hired people in the past for Fortune 500 companies. I really just needed to hear back as a courtesy.

    I had a phone screening with someone from UW HR and then about a week later a member of the Program Ops. team reached out and scheduled an interview. The interview was via Zoom and divided up into two parts. One 30 minute session with the program manager and then another 45 minute session with the manager and the 6 person team. Each team member asked me a behavioral interview question and then after that I was given the opportunity to ask my questions. I felt like the interview went really well and everyone was extremely nice...unfortunately after that I was completely ghosted. I fallowed up twice with the team member that set up the interview and twice with the program manager. I never herd back from anyone, they didn't even respond to my emails, which I find extremely unprofessional. I never herd back about the position so I assumed that I didn't get it and moved on to other offers.
