    Terrible experience.
    HR rep arranged a call and then cancelled 10 mins after we were supposed to already be on the call. She asked to reschedule and when I followed up, she took nearly 2 weeks to reply to say she had filled the position.

    I'm sure TribalScale is great to work for if you can get past their disorganized and unprofessional HR dept. Bad HR is a common problem in IT, but this was probably the worst I've experienced in 15+ years of working in IT.

    I first had a phone interview with a PM. That went well.

    I then had a call with a designer scheduled for 12PM. After 20 minutes of waiting and no call, I figured something happened. I emailed and was asked if we could reschedule for later in the evening as they were stuck in a meeting. Then they told me they looked forward to me presenting my work and gave me a link to screenshare. I was told it was a phone screening, not a presentation. I would've prepared differently.

    I then was told "we'll contact you next week". That was about 4 weeks ago and I haven't heard back. I know they're more of startup, but there was a fair amount of mis-communication. I understand you may have been caught up in a meeting, but my time is valuable as well and expecting me to wait around is rude. This is happening more and more when designers are making the calls vs recruiters/hr.

    Long, arduous process that eclipsed nearly 2+ months. Multiple video and telephone interviews with team members and when the Exec team gets around to it, they finally have a conversation when they have time. They really don't know who they are looking for to fill this new position with TribalScale let alone orchestrate a value proposition for this new vertical.

    Slightly different, I had my initial call with one of the Founder's of the company, which I thought was fantastic. My next interview was roughly an hour long phone interview, and the last interview was a follow up on site with a pairing interview that was also an hour long. Overall, there were some gaps in communications, but nothing serious as I always had a follow-up when I reached out. The pairing interview was enjoyable, and my takeaway throughout the process was that they have an excellent and capable team.

    CEO contacted me through another job posting website and managed the whole process himself. We started talking around one and a half months ago and he was really eager to talk to me about the possible opportunity. After initial phone screen, I was assigned with an Android sample project to showcase my android skills in 2 weeks. Throughout the project he contacted with me regularly and was very interested in. After I delivered my project they wanted me to re-do the application but with using new technologies, there was nothing wrong with this and it was a nice gesture on their part. Instead of rejecting me they gave me 2 more weeks to use new libraries and revamp my app. After the second delivery CEO himself said they had a good impression and they will make a decision shortly next week. At this point I did 2 applications in 3 weeks and was waiting for their response. One week later I emailed them hoping them to have a response, they postponed it one more week, and I have never heard from them again even though I emailed CEO 2 times and not even a response.

    My general impression is that when TribalScale "needs" you they will email you frequently and will be very close but probably when they find another candidate they will not even email to notify the result.

    My overall experience was very negative.

The next step was to "find right role"...work with various members of the team and locate the areas of need. then review back to CEO and secure consulting mandate

    HR person contacted me for a quick phone call which lasted around 15 minutes talking about my past experience, why I want to work for the company, etc. I was then scheduled for a second interview with the manager the following week. The second interview did not feel like an interview at all...Just talked about when I could start and told me more about the company. Was told that they would love to have me on the team and that they just need to confirm some things. I was under the impression that I had pretty much gotten the job, but a week later there was no response...Followed up with HR twice before they told me that they had gone forward with another candidate. In my opinion, it was not professionally handled. They should not have said anything if they weren't sure they were going to hire me.

    Initially, the recruiter called for a quick chat describing the company and talking about my skills. Then, took a week for a second call. On this call, we talked deeply about my skills. After that, we set up an onsite interview for a 1:1 talk and a test. The test lasted about an hour. I got no offer, but the experience helped to be prepared for other interviews.
